Where to buy supplies
So… first off, not to discourage you, but candle making can be pretty expensive to do, especially if you ever plan on turning it into a business. It requires a lot of testing, because a wick that works in one fragrance, and has good throw, might not have any throw to it on another fragrance, so you might have to wick up. Basically you have to test every scent with multiple different options to find what is best. Another is if you start buying larger amounts of wax, the shipping costs are astronomical. A good place I recommend is Aztec Candle. Quite often the offer 10 1oz bottles of fragrances for $10, so you can try some different ones and see what you like best, without spending a lot of money. Then buy larger amounts of the ones you like

Essential Oil Sources Suggestions?
Do you have a quality, affordable essential oil supplier that you love and can recommend? I enjoy making melt-&-pour soaps and apothecary in general and have been searching essential oil sources. I get frustrated when I visit sites and have to wade through blends. I’m seeking an essential oils source(s) where the oils smell divine, have a good shelf life, are not expensive and where I can find lots of single oils rather than blends.

Christmas Craft Ideas for Kids
One that we used to always do was Magic Reindeer Food. It’s pretty simple and the kids love doing it. To make this reindeer food recipe, you’ll need: * a small mixing bowl * something to stir with (I used a plastic fork since I had plenty on hand) * clear plastic bags or treat bags * stapler (optional) * printer and paper * oats (any kind, whatever is cheapest at the grocery store) * sprinkles (the more festive, the better!) * glitter (I recommend getting the decorating sugar that looks like glitter instead of the other stuff) In a small or medium mixing bowl, combine… * 1/2 cup of oats * 2 tbsp. of glitter * 2 tbsp. cup sprinkles It makes about 6 treat bags You can then have the kids write the following poem on the piece of paper, which you attach to the bag. Sprinkle on the lawn Christmas Eve night, The moonlight will make it sparkle bright, As Santa’s reindeer fly and roam, This will guide them to your home.
